Friday: Beers @ the Hamilton w/ Raven. Late night Soul Club action @ The Lithuanian Hall.
Saturday: Woke up wooshy. Gave Ben a tour of the city: Hampden (Golden West, Atomic Books), Copycat Yardsale (couldn’t get in!), American Visionary Arts Museum, Mt. Vernon (Once Twice Sound, Red Emmas).
Sunday: Sowebo Festival: Squid Fire zombie T-Shirt, met and bought a very small painting from Matt Sesow (whose work we saw Saturday at the AVAM!). Walked around the Copycat looking at street art. Goofy walk around Charles Village with Raven. Rented Epidemic and Grey Gardens from Video Americain. Finished Six Feet Under season four. Adult Swimage & doodling.
Monday: Memorial Day / Matt’s (aka Fluffy’s) birthday party in Boring, MD. Events included (in no particular order): BBQ, hot tub, swimming pool, great DJ’s, bocce ball, case of Yuengling, secret smoke-out in the attic, ice luge, dancing, kittens, hungry hungry cheese platter, fireworks, good company.
