CCAS Art Swap-Meet

I’ve decided that I’m going to participate in this … still trying to think of what I’m going to submit …

“Swap-meet” - June 17th thru July 9

CCAS would like to invite you to participate in a self-hung art show, the last 2 weeks of June. here’s the details…

1. Bring a piece of work and hang it at CCAS (1729 Maryland Ave., Baltimore, MD 21201) on the nights of Tuesday, June 14th, Wednesday June 15th or Thursday June 16th, between the hours of 8p to 10p.
*(Please contact us if you cannot make one of these dates so we can try to make other arrangements.)
*(Work should be ready to hang ­ contact us in advance for 3-D work or other work that is not wall mountable. Keep in mind that space that space is limited, so it’s first come, first served. No work larger than 24” on any side.)

2. Tell all your friends.

3. Return to CCAS Saturday July 9th @ 7pm, and pick a number from a hat (or bag or whatever we have) and in exchange for your piece, you take another’s.

Closing night reception starts at 7 pm, and the exchange will happen between 8p and 8:30p. Numbers will be drawn from a hat when you arrive, and you pick another piece of art off the wall in that order.

We feel that this will give local artists a chance to meet and share their work. To see what other people in our city are doing. Help stimulate the art community and social environment of creative thinkers in Baltimore.
