Starting work on the official website for the secret society I’m part of, The Suits. Contemplating which way I want to approach the site design. On one hand I could graphically modify a pre-existing Content Management System (CMS), where it would be more an online think tank than anything else. On the other hand I could keep things real simple and set it up as, say a 6 page site. Static, brochure-esque. While the first would be fun as a “club house” of sorts, it would likely take up free time and energy better spent persuing our personal/collective creative interests (unless of course your primary creative interest is posting on websites). I feel the later option would be more powerful as a marketing tool, as we can maintain a screen of privacy. Less is more.
PS: The DNS still has yet to resolve. In the mean time you can see our splash screen here.
