Seems I’ve been more than a little slack about posting upcoming events here on the blarg. My applogies. This ones tonight, very last minute notice, but better late than never I guess. Check it out if it’s feasible.
Baltimore: Tonight, free beer and short films!
You’ve got one last chance (here in Baltimore, at least) to see Boson, Rachel and Song pratfalling their way through “Ponkutsu Park” on the big-screen (widescreen 35mm) at the Charles Theatre — Friday night, June 16th at 11:30 PM!
The good news is that it’s also screening with John Standiford’s new multi-plane 16mm animated short film, “Fading Star.” This is the first time it’s going to be seen anywhere, and on 16mm film to boot. If you don’t know John Standiford, he’s sort of the current spiritual guru of the Charles Theatre, and he also programs the revival series …
… and Rachel is making good on her long-standing promise to provide free PBR for the event! So come on out! Once again …
