WhereTF?

It has recently come to my attention that my blog is waaaaaaaay out of date.  This isn’t because nothings been happening, but rather, too much happening.  I’ve fully immersed myself in music (both making and consuming), wii, netflix and le interweb the last few months and as soon as I have a few hours to spare I’ll sit down and try to recap as much as I can.

Brrr, it’s freezing out!

    Hi!

Thanks for dropping by my blog. I spent the better part of yesterday googling for ways to trick wordpress.com into permitting object/embed tags. No dice!

Hopefully you’ll be able to get someone over at Wordpress to let Cellblock be embedded, because it’s a brilliant idea. I hate to think of the stress it could put on a server though, since your pic/vid size limit is 3mb!

Are the pics/vids automatically resized? I want to know if I should be resizing the photos from my 6MP Fuji camera before emailing them in.

My cameraphone is a Motorola A1000 PDA, so it’s only got a measly 1.2MP camera, but one of my favourite things about CellBlock, is it combines photos from my PC and my phone.

Oh, and I found your service through smstextnews.com
Ewan is probably responsible for a LOT more people hearing about your site than I am.

    Hey hey!

We do resize all the incoming photos and videos, so you don’t need to do that before you send them in. If the image is larger than 1280×1024 we take it down to that resolution.

I just got done discussing the 3MB limits to my development lead and it looks like we’re going to up that limit in the coming weeks (or possibly remove the limit entirely)! Don’t worry about our servers, we’ve got that covered. :D

In the blogosphere, every voice matters. Even though you don’t have the reach that Ewan does at smstextnews, you telling your friends about it can have a big impact. Thanks again!
