My shiny new contact mic lasted all of 30 minutes at band practice last night before the solders broke. Doh! :(

NO! DONT go back to the drawing board- your contact mic was great, you just need to coat the soldered wires with a ton of gooey rubber cement /silicon/ something tough.
i had a good time playing and am really digging the way to are rocking your sampler/keyboard setup. gritty noise funk, static sine minimalism, fucking rad.
BUT I DIDNT COME HERE JUST TO PRAISE YOU.
I forgot that my brothers graduation party is tomorrow night, so i dont think i am going to be able to make it to baltimore. this sucks and makes me sad, but I also found out that I might be playing at THE BANK on tuesday night (5th). the show looks good & the bank is on the west side (DJ DOGDICK’S home) -, but i have 2 (kinda) questions
#1. if i am playing on tuesday night, would you like to come? I am trying to get a ride up from some DC kids, but if that doesnt work out i’d take the MARC and need to meet up with someone who’s down to blaze a pound. i could come up a little early on tuesday and we could chill or whatever. (my friend who may come with me might also know some people who would be able to pick us up- aka dont feel pressured)
#2 i dont really know why im asking this , because im pretty sure we’d be able to crash at the BANK or my friends places, but if not- tuesday slumber party? ? ? ?

hey dude thanks for all the kind words! turns out that it was really easy to resolder the contact mic. thankfully it was my solders that broke and not the factory solders connecting the wires to the mic. :)
unfortunately i’m only seeing your comment now, 17 days later. :(
