In just a little over two weeks time I’ve gone from a hack Flash developer to a serious ActionScript Guru. Shez and I worked closely together to get a ton of new functionality into the Cellblock player. For this, she hooked up the Cellblock API on the back end and I took that information and ran with it on the UI. I’m really super excited to release this awesome new player to the world.
Some of the awesome new stuff you can do with the Cellblock player:
- View the thumbnails for the Cellblock
- Get image and video URLs / embed code for each item of Cellblock content
- Log into the player!!!
- Turn preview mode on or off in the player
- Approve new incoming content in the player (if your Cellblock is in preview mode)
- Moderate already accepted content
- Make photos and videos visible / invisible
- Edit captions for photos and videos
This is some really serious shit. If you have a Cellblock, just click on the Menu then “Login” to test drive some of the new owner functionality. We just released this like 15 minutes ago … time for a nap. :)
