Beau has brought it to my attention that not only is Steven Segal in a blues band, they are playing in Maryland on June 22. Hillarious. If the tickets weren’t $40/seat I’d totally be there. His backing band is called Thunderbox!! How sweet is that?

Mojo Priest is the follow-up album to Seagal’s European release, Songs From The Crystal Cave, which was a #1 record in France. With his musical presence recognized all over Europe, Seagal plans to now dazzle audiences across the United States during his upcoming tour. Steven will soon be known for more than taking care of business on the big screen: his guitar licks will speak for themselves.

Was scoping Boing Boing this morning and saw this article about ARPHIDs, and their projected applications in the future. I’m still not really sure what ARPHIDs (RFIDs) and Oyster Cards are all about (don’t have time to do more research at the present, unfortunately), but I wanted to pass it on before I forgot. This article lead me to Odeo, and their article on Oyster Card field recordings in the London Underground. I listened to their field recording No. 1, and I’m not sure if that delay effect is a natural occurance or something they did in post production, but either way it sounds awesome. Give it a listen!

1. If zombies took your town over where would you go for safety?:
First I’d try to make it to Colege Park to Virgil’s, cause he’s got 20+ guns including many semi automatic rifiles. Then the gun store down the street from his house for more ammo. Then straight to the country cause everyone knows that major cities are prime locations for massive zombie infestations.

2. What would you use to kill zombies?:
A 9mm would do the job. An axe would also work. If I didn’t have an axe handy I’d probably fashion myself a long spear.

3. If your gf/bf got bit what would you do?:
Whatever they wanted me to do.

4. Is the mall a really good idea?:
For pillaging, not for permanent residence.

5. Would it be hard to kill your friends and family members if they were zombies?:
Kinda sorta.

6. Would you be able to have sex knowing zombies might bust in at any time?:
I plan to secure a location where zombies can’t bust in at any time. A ’stronghold’ if you will.

7. If you were bit would you tell?:
Yes, and I’d pull the trigger myself.

8. If you see one of your worst enemies would you shoot them even though they were not infected?:
I don’t have worst enemies. If I did, I’d only shoot them if they were trying to kill/rob me and/or my group.

9. What would you do to your car to make it zombie proof?:
Right after I grouped with Virgil and the guns I’d acquire a more secure vehicle. A school bus would be ideal cause it’s so high off the ground. Some kind of utility van would be a good second choice, and probably more viable since I have no idea how to drive a school bus. Then again utility vans don’t have much hood space, which is needed when you have to run down zombies or push burning cars out of the road. Maybe a Volvo? I heard those are safe.

10. Do you worry about zombies taking over?:
Bring it on.
